Last week I mentioned what the Elyte drivers aren’t. This week, let’s talk about what they ARE. Let’s talk about what the whole product family is while we’re at it. I want to give you a 30 second pitch on the key technology in each product family, so you can answer in a short format when a member asks you.

Elyte family

Start here – the technology is in (almost) ALL products in the family.

How much forgiveness can we leave in while still producing the highest ball speeds? By flipping the design philosophy between how we achieve faster ball speeds (it used to be the face) and more forgiveness (it used to be the body), we were able to generate products with the highest ball speeds AND levels of forgiveness. Aerodynamic superiority and mastering the use of AI technology produce incredibly advanced designs that outperform anything we’ve ever made and look great doing it.

Elyte Driver

The new driver walks a fine line between distance and forgiveness. The head is more Aerodynamic than our previous drivers – this makes it faster. A player can swing it faster with the same amount of effort. To the tune of 1.5 MPH on robot testing. Many players get more than that. A gain of 1.5 MPH of club head speed = roughly 2.25 MPH in ball speed = roughly 7 yards of carry vs. the AI Smoke driver – last years highest performing driver.

We used AI to refine the face technology. Instead of using AI to make the face faster, we re-designed it to make it more forgiving. The sticker on the face says it’s an Ai 10x face – this means it has 10x the number of micro sweet spots that we had in the Ai Smoke driver. 10x… We took it from 1,500 to 25,000. Each of these spots is designed to hit the ball with faster ball speeds, directional control, and spin & launch control. The result? It was 19% tighter down range vs. the Smoke driver.

Faster with better dispersion? You can’t lose.

Elyte FW Woods

All of the same technology features found in the driver are also in the FW Wood, which also has an enhanced shape. Many players struggle with thin contact (shots hit low on the face) with a FW Wood. Elyte has a stepped sole. This gets the rear 57% of the sole off the ground at impact, which enables the leading edge to be lower – thereby raising the strike point. As the strike point is raised, where the weight is positioned inside the head also had to be adjusted. It is now raised inside the head (as opposed to on the bottom of the sole. The result is a much more consistent flight with a much more powerful trajectory.

Elyte Hybrids

All of the same technology features found in the driver are also in the hybrid, which also has 2 key fitting options. Many players struggle with hooking hybrids, so the Elyte hybrid now has two weights that are reversible. There is a 13-gram and a 3-gram weight that can be positioned with either the heavy in the toe or the heel – depending upon the players preference. In addition, a new hosel adapter can adjust the lie angle to 2* flat or 2* upright – also depending upon the players preference.

Elyte Irons

MOST of the same technology features found in the driver are also in the irons. The aerodynamic piece was not used, but an additional version of an older technology was brought back. A version of jailbreak from the drivers in the late 2010’s through 2022 is redesigned for an iron and is used in the Elyte iron family. Jailbreak connected the crown to the sole to give the body more structural support, which allowed a better transfer of energy from the club head to the golf ball. Inside each Elyte iron is a piece of steel that connects the sole to the crown for – you guessed it – better ball speeds. This technology was first used in the Paradym forged irons a couple years ago. New metals have allowed us to be able to make this in a cast design that has the softer feel of a traditional iron.

The Ai 10x face is a prominent feature of each of the models in this family – more forgiveness everywhere on the face. The looks of these irons are spectacular – it’s hard to believe that they can be as forgiving as they are and go the distances they do, while looking like they do.
